Świąteczne znaczki z Wallacem i Gromitem / Christmas stamps with Wallace and Gromit

2 listopada tego roku Royal Mail wydał świąteczne znaczki z Wallacem i Gromitem.

Moja kolekcja znaczków oczywiście się o nie powiększyła  :)

Dla przypomnienia Wallace i Gromit  to stworzone przez Nicka Parka, plastelinowe postacie, główni bohaterowie angielskich filmów animowanych powstających w studiu filmowym Aardman Animations. Postacie animowano tradycyjną i bardzo czasochłonną (1 sekunda filmu = dzień pracy) techniką poklatkową (z niewielkim wsparciem techniki komputerowej w wyjątkowych sytuacjach).

This year’s Christmas stamps feature the much-loved animated characters, Wallace and Gromit. The cheese-loving, tank-top wearing Wallace and his misunderstood hound, Gromit, will appear on seven Christmas stamps issued on 2 November.
